Scholarships

Scholarship and volunteer opportunities are integral to Metalwerx's educational mission! Our scholarship fund and opportunities are made possible thanks to generous donations, grants, and fundraisers.

Metalwerx scholarships provide financial assistance for recipients to enhance their skills, study with a visiting artist, find new inspiration and expand their metalworking repertoire. Scholarships are offered throughout the year for courses and the Spring Symposium. Use the links below to apply for a course scholarship or to learn more about Spring Symposium scholarships.

Metalwerx is also a proud participant in the Card to Culture Program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, Massachusetts Health Connector, and Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, by extending 75% off tuition and all materials fees to EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders. Card to Culture Scholarships are based on availability and tuition may vary. Use the link below to request your Card to Culture scholarship or email us at [email protected] with your name, the class you are interested in, and a picture of your EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card.

Thank You!

Metalwerx is especially grateful to Deborah A Hawkins, Rio Grande, and other individual donors for scholarship funding support that has helped increase scholarship offerings and access to education programs.

If you would like to help us create more scholarships, contributions of any size, can be made to our general scholarship fund through our donation page. Please contact Jenny Gilbert, Executive Director, if you would like to create a named scholarship in honor of someone important to you or for a specific purpose.
