Little vessels are perfect for holding special treasures. They can be kept on display at home or made into container pendants (aka Japanese Inro) to carry your keepsakes with you all day.

Over the course of 5 weeks, students will learn how to construct three box styles from metal clay; a simple 4-sided box, a lidded box, and a hinged box. Various methods of box construction, both layering moist clay and dry fitting individual parts, as well as construction of lids and hinges will be covered in this course.

The two boxes pictured here are award winners for Michela. You can read more about her metal clay achievements in our blog article, Metal Clay a winning choice for MW instructor Michela Verani. If you'd like to see more of Michela's work, please visit her website www.everlastingtreasures.org

This class is 5 sessions long. Each session meets for 3 hours. If a make-up class is necessary, it will be held on April 5.
