Thrive not just survive. Increase sales with Dynamic Marketing Strategies

This one day workshop will give artists the tools to create more sales in the current business climate. Learning how to sell your work and merchandise it is the key to success. In addition, understand what kinds of images will win over a jury as well as sales techniques that draw customers into your space and get them to buy spontaneously when they are looking at your work.

The day is broken up into three mini-seminars as follows:

Booth design and Merchandising for Art Shows and Galleries

Display and lighting can make or break an exhibit, but booth displays need NOT cost a fortune. Creativity and resourcefulness are what count. Learn to design a display that complements your work and be led through the many possibilities of construction, materials, lighting, and merchandising techniques. A slide presentation showing good and bad examples of art merchandising will be shown to visually drive these points home.

Your Images and the Jury

Get into better shows consistently. Learn what juries are looking for and how you can choose and arrange your images to get maximum impact and better results. Digital photography and jury services like "Zapplication" have changed everything about the way your images are perceived by a jury. Learn what juries are looking for and how you can get the latest thinking on this topic. Gain an advantage over your competition and get accepted to better shows. This portion of the seminar will include a digital presentation with YOUR WORK!**

Sales and Customer Service Techniques

For anyone who finds themselves in a sales position, this lively and entertaining seminar will help you to greet your customers and close more sales.
  • Learn how customers expect to become repeat and loyal buyers.
  • Discover how using the senses and body language will create more sales!
  • Learn why it is important to never say "thank you" to your customers until a sale is transacted and how to avoid other customer "turnoffs".

Thousands of art and craft sellers have benefited from this information; they report the results are like magic! Don't miss this opportunity to increase your sales at your next sales venue.
