Instructor: Ms. Wendy Jo New
Level: Beginner Requirements: Basic Fabrication and Soldering Skills Program: Fall Status: Wait List Length: 1 Days Tuition: $ 105 Materials: $ 35 Date: October 01, 2010 - October 01, 2010 Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Location: Metalwerx
In this workshop, we will cover a couple of different stone setting methods as we construct sterling silver pendants. Through demonstration and hands-on experience, you will also learn about fabrication techniques, soldering, cleanup, and polishing. We will be working with cabochons, domed stones with a flat back, to highlight and inspire our necklace designs.
Students must have basic sawing, filing, and soldering skills. Please note: If you do not meet the pre-requisite, please let us know so we can make arrangements prior to the workshop (private lessons).
