Wondering how to finish those beautiful, woven pieces? This workshop will address the challenges of working with woven elements including die-forming, soldering, pin-hinge clasps, edges, riveting and more.

Munya will start by introducing a variety of finishes for woven jewelry. After viewing many slides and examples, students will learn how to engineer closures and finishes for their uniquely beautiful projects. Student interest will help to steer the direction of demonstrations and projects.

Students should bring any woven projects, samples, and questions along with a variety of materials (wire, tubing, die forms, sheet metal, etc.). Choose to work on a variety of samples or focus on a particular piece.

Please refrain from wearing fragrance to class.
