Expand your Metal Clay repertoire! This intermediate silver metal clay course covers methods for enhancing your metal clay designs through demonstrations and a series of 5 projects. You will learn a number of ways to add stones to your work as well as add color through the resin inlay process. This class will also cover techniques for hollow forms such as lentil, pillow, and drum shaped beads. Round out the class with different surface embellishments including adding gold to the surface (Keum Boo) and simple patinas.

Previous metal clay experience is required! This class is 8 sessions long. Each session meets for 3 hours. If a make-up class is necessary, it will be held on December 13, 2010.

Materials & Tools

There is a $100 materials fee, payable when signing up which includes one 50 gram package of ACS, stones, resin inlay supplies, Gold Keum Boo foil, and other miscellaneous supplies for projects.
