Learn the basics of working with silver metal clay by making one-of-a-kind earrings and pendant. Skills covered include stamping, cutting, creating a bail, as well as finishing methods.
In addition, come to understand the history of silver metal clay, its working characteristics and necessary tools. Students will also be presented with handouts documenting this information, a bibliography, and a complete list of suppliers.
This class is 3 sessions long. Each session meets for 3 hours. If a make-up class is necessary, it can be held on October 17, 2011.

Materials & Tools There is a $45 materials fee, payable when signing up, which includes one 20 gram package of ACS. Students who like to work large, may require additional clay. It will be available for purchase as necessary at class.
