Good soldering techniques are the foundation of successful jewelry and hollowware fabrication. This informative seminar covers well-fitting joints, melting points of solder to extend your heat palette, fabrication challenges such as "T" joints and butt joints, tips on soldering hollow forms to textured elements, and tubing to tubing. Studio safety will be addressed. Karen Christians is the owner of Cleverwerx and the Founder of Metalwerx, Inc. She designs specialty tools for jewelers, teaches workshops and is the author of "Making the Most of Your Flex-Shaft".
