Introduction to Drawing for Jewelry

This workshop will benefit beginning as well as experienced jewelry designers interested in learning how to work out their concepts on paper for themselves, clients, or model makers. It will give an overview of drawing techniques needed to express three-dimensional concepts in two-dimensional form, such as perspective, shading, multi-view drawing and exploded drawing. Students will execute their own designs using each technique demonstrated.
Louise will also be teaching Introduction to Jewelry Illustration in March as a follow up to this course.

Materials & Tools There is a materials kit for this class that includes the drawing supplies needed for the day. It costs $15 and is payable when signing up.
Students Should Bring:
We will have some of the following items to use during class and share with other students, however, please bring your own, if you have them:
- compass
- adjustable triangles, t-squares or parallel rules
- oval and circle templates
