Take the difficulty out of making bezels for small stones by tube setting. With a little forethought, you can often find a good match between your stone size and available tubing so that you can spend more of your time making jewelry. And even better . . . you won't have to worry about the bezel seam opening up when you solder it into the jewelry!

We will cover the specifics of pairing up the right size tubing for your stones and learn many creative ways to use the tube set stones. This will also be a great opportunity to learn how to use setting burs or create a seat when the right size tubing is just not available. And for the really adventurous, we can use square tubing to set a square stone, often thought of as the hardest shape to set.

This class is 4 sessions long. Each session is 3 hours. If a make-up class is necessary, it will be held on August 31, 2009
