Set stones in Metal Clay! Students will make pieces using bezel setting, metal clay prongs, and channel setting techniques.

The bezel techniques will include utilizing PMC sheet, making metal clay bezel cups and using ready made bezel cups for comparison, and practice the 'twice-fire'method. There will be step-by-step demos of each of these methods, and finished pieces to view as examples. These will be practice pieces to use as a reference for further work.

This workshop is for those with intermediate to advanced metal clay skills--NOT for beginners.

Jeanette is currently the executive director of the International PMC Guild. She teaches classes and workshops across the country and internationally, is a Senior Instructor for Rio Grande, and has just published her second book "Setting Stones in Metal Clay".

SANDALS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE WORN IN OUR STUDIO FOR SAFETY REASONS. Make sure to wear close toed shoes to class!!!
