Looking for an exciting new product with which to experiment? Join us for an interesting and productive weekend of working with a material that is manipulated like clay and kiln fired into a pure silver object. This class is perfect for beginners who have never made jewelry, as well as advanced students who haven't yet worked with this innovative material.
Munya Upin, a PMC certified instructor, will show students a variety of techniques to use with precious metal clay, including: mold making - which will allow students to make multiples of a design - stone setting, and Keum Boo (the application of 24K gold to the surface). Students will go home with finished pieces including hollow beads, earrings, pendants, and more.
If you'd like to see more of Munya's work, please visit her website www.m-avigail-upin.com
