Have you always wanted to learn to make jewelry but never had the time? If that is the case, this condensed two day exploration of beginning jewelry skills is your ideal solution.

Students will learn to saw, anneal, solder, file, texture and finish nonferrous metals. You will also learn to bezel-set a cabochon stone. This is a great class for the beginner on the go, or for those who just need a quick refresher. No experience is necessary for this workshop.

Materials & Tools

Your $50 materials kit includes copper, sterling silver, solder, bezel wire, cabochon stone and saw blades.

Students should bring:

  • Small hand towel
  • Tool box (shoe box, plastic tackle box etc.)
  • Old tooth brush (for cleaning)
  • Ruler
  • Ultra Fine point Sharpie permanent marker
  • Sketchbook, pen and pencil

*Note: This workshop starts early. Please be on time and ready to work.
