Fundamental hand skills, good studio habits, and appreciation of quality craftsmanship are the focus of Jewelry I. This course is designed to introduce the basics of fine jewelry making and encourage the development of your own ideas.

Each week new skills and tools will be introduced. Time will be spent practicing on scrap material as well as applying these skills in making a sterling silver ring with a bezel-set stone and a pendent of your own design.

This class is 6 sessions long. Each session is 4 hours. If a make-up class is necessary, it will be held on August 18, 2008
