Mr. Michael Banner

Michael Banner, a professional studio silversmith since 1967, has work in museum permanent collections, received his B.S. from Western Michigan University, and studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He has won the Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellowship and Society of Arts and Crafts Artists Award.

Publications include The Artful Teapot, Objects for Use, Mary Englebreit, Metalsmith Magazine, and television's HGTV Modern Masters. Michael collaborates with his wife Maureen in their Berkshire hills studio in western Massachusetts.
