Lee is an engineer with more than 45 years experience in special machine design. He developed the Bonny Doon Press and first showed it at the SNAG conference in San Francisco in 1990. He worked closely with Susan Kingsley to ensure that it fully met the needs of the jewelry/metalsmithing community. He has taught workshops at numerous SNAG conferences, Surrey Institute of Art and Design England, Birmingham England, Maine College of Art & Craft, Revere Academy San Francisco, and many others.
