Daves first exposure to metals was in the 8th grade where he made a simple band ring. Since then he has gone on to get his BA at the Evergreen State College, and his MFA at The School of the American Craftsman at Rochester Institute of Technology. His work can be found in galleries as far away as Hawaii.
