| Ms. Adrienne Sloane |

A studio artist since 1986, Sloane is an award-winning fiber artist who has exhibited her work throughout the country. She has pieces in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Goldstein Museum of Design in Minneapolis, MN as well as private collections.
Recent recognition includes the Directors' Award at Fiberart International 2007 and Best of Show for Body of Work at Fiber Directions 2009. Her work is also profiled in the book, Knitting Art: 150 Innovative Works from 18 Contemporary Artists. She has consulted on projects in Bolivia and Peru working with indigenous knitters.
In her Lexington studio, she continues to develop a new body of work using traditional techniques in expressive and exploratory ways while in her teaching she encourages her students to work innovatively.
