Gustave Hebert created Trinity Imports, LLC after years of collecting gemstones as a hobby. At age 15, he began collecting emeralds from Colombia and Brazil. His fascination with these "rocks" grew as he learned more about them through books and speaking with people abroad. From Colombian emeralds he started importing gemstones from Sri Lanka, collecting various types of sapphires and learning about Sri Lanka's enormous supply of precious stones. Gustave also began to familiarize himself with the rules and restrictions that deal with importing, U.S. Customs regulations and foreign matters that affect the supply and price of gemstones.

Gustave has since begun working on his Graduate Gemologist diploma through the GIA (Gemological Institute of America). He has traveled to many national gem shows and continues to keep close contact with gemstone suppliers, now close friends, in various countries such Sri Lanka, Colombia, India, Thailand, Australia and Brazil.
