Mr. Brian Marshall

Brian Marshall is a master engraver with over 30 years experience in working with his hands. First training horses in his youth, he began working as a blacksmith and then saddlemaker. Soon, silver was the choice of metal where he designed and fabricated custom jewelry and leather. In 1988, he moved to Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico, where he lived, and designed sterling jewelry which he brought back to California to sell. Returning to California in 1993 he moved from engraving on precious metals to steel. Seeing the need to pass on what he learned, Brian began a school of his own in Stockton, California where students travel to learn engraving from all over the world.
