ROBERT FAIRBANK has been a professional goldsmith for twenty-two years, designing and fabricating exquisite jewelry for private clients, galleries and fine jewelers. He is a principal of Goldsmiths3 and oversees our production facility. Robert has dedicated himself to a broad range of inquiry in the fields of jewelry and metalsmithing; pursuing silversmithing, blacksmithing and sculpture as well as mastering the goldsmith's art.
His training includes both formal and independent studies at The University of Massachusetts (Amherst), Massachusetts College of Art (Boston), and The Boston Museum School of Fine Arts. An inquisitive mind and love of gemstones lead him to The Gemological Institute of America and course work in diamond grading, colored gemstone grading, and gemstone identification.
