I was born in Louisiana and have lived virtually all over the united states. Having moved to so many locations I developed a great appreciation of the differences in cultural art and lives of many people. I have always been more interested in the eclectic art of each region and off beat people and places.
I have tried may forms of expression such as sewing, knitting, crocheting, braided and hooked rugs and so on and on. Finally I found my true love, jewelry making. It all started in San Diego. I had gone to visit my sister who lived there. She ask me if I would be interested in learning a new craft. Naturally I jumped at the opportunity. My sister introduced me to her jewelry teacher who was teaching Needle weaving, and my love of jewelry was born.
