The founder and director of the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts, Alan has degrees in Fine Arts and Psychology, and is a German-trained master goldsmith and an award-winning jewelry designer. He is the author of Professional Goldsmithing, and Professional Jewelry Repair as well as the video series, Revere on Goldsmithing.
A member of the American Jewelry Design Council, he is also a frequent contributor to JCK, Professional Jeweler, and other magazines. Alan teaches Design, Fabrication, Trade Practices, Setting, Bench Tricks, Engraving, Marketing and many other classes at the Revere Academy.
